About this web site

This web site is hosted by Dreamhost using an httpd2 server and its PHP5 module. The web server uses a Debian GNU/Linux 4.0 (etch) as operating system.

Each web site's page, except the blog powered by a dotclear 2 RC7 and the gallery organised using zenphoto, is xhtml 1.0 strict compliants and respects semantically W3C's standards.

For its creation, Eclipse was used for editing HTML, PHP and CSS code with syntax coloration.

A template page writen in PHP is used for simplify creation and update of web pages, because it's boring to have to write several times the same things.

Firefox browser and the Web Developer addon allow me to view pages during their creation.

The layout of HTML's pages was realized using CSS 2.1 to keep a good compatibility with various browsers. Both blog and gallery's CSS was modified to stick with the main theme. The web site was tested using various browsers such as Firefox 2.0.0.8, Internet Explorer 6, Konqueror 3.5.8, and some bugs were corrected (especially for MSIE).
